Winter Guard

Winter Guard

The Railmen Winter Guard began in 2014 with the rebirth of the Railmen organization. Over the past year the guard has seen much growth splitting into two units in 2017. Currently the ensembles compete in the classes of Independent Open and Independent Regional A. The guards are no stranger to success compiling 7 HWAA Championships and 9 WGI Regional wins.

Indoor Percussion

The Railmen Indoor Percussion competed in it's first season in 2014 taking home an HWAA championship and placing 9th at WGI World Championship Finals. The group took a break only to return in 2018 for a very successful season. Two groups were fielded taking first and third at HWAA Championships with the top group finishing fourth at WGI World Championship Finals.

Winter Winds

Winter Winds

Railmen Winter Winds came into existence during the 2016 competitive season. Winds is primarily new to WGI and the Railmen have been fortunate enough to make WGI Independent A Class Finals in 2016 and 2017. The group took 2018 off but are back and ready to make history.

2014 marked the 75th anniversary of the Railmen Drum and Bugle which prompted a reunion. The corps performed a standstill show in 2014 and 2015 before taking their talents to the field in 2016 to win the DCI SoundSport Championship title. The corps will be returning to compete in DCI's SoundSport in 2019 to mark the corps' 80th Anniversary.
